Data we collect
We collect data you provide (name, email, organization, alumni records you upload) and data your usage generates (logs, analytics events, session info).
How we use it
To provide and improve the service, communicate with you about your account, send transactional emails (login codes, receipts), and comply with our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Trusted subprocessors (Stripe for payments, SendGrid/Hostinger for email, DigitalOcean for hosting) — listed publicly in our Subprocessors page. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time via your account settings or by emailing privacy@alumniconnect.io.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation. Audit logs are retained for up to 7 years for security purposes.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in any country where our subprocessors operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU/UK.
Cookies
We use functional cookies for authentication and analytics cookies (anonymized) to improve the product. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Security
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Role-based access control. Regular security audits. Report concerns to security@alumniconnect.io.
Children's data
Alumni Connect is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We notify you by email or in-app of material changes.
